ASPAC

Nutrient Advantage is one of the few Australian soil and plant tissue nutrient testing laboratories that is independently verified by 3rd parties for accuracy and traceability. Both NATA accredited and ASPAC certified for the majority of soil and plant tissue tests offered, you can have confidence in our provision of credible and validated test results.

ASPAC Nutrient Advantage is a founding member of the Australasian Soil and Plant Analysis Council (ASPAC).  ASPAC promotes excellence in all aspects of soil and plant testing by encouraging the adoption of preferred methods and protocols.  ASPAC also coordinates inter-laboratory proficiency testing programs for laboratories involved in soil and plant tissue testing to objectively assesses their performance on a tri-annual basis.  Over the course of a year, this involves testing 12 soil samples and 12 plant tissues.  ASPAC certification is awarded on a ‘test basis’ and is not a blanket certification for a laboratory. For example a laboratory may be ASPAC certified for Colwell P analysis but not Olsen P.  In order to receive ASPAC certification, a laboratory must meet the minimum specified proficiency criteria for an individual test over a 12 month period.
